Policy Statement
WESCO Group is a
proudly Namibian enterprise with a rich engineering heritage dating back to
1986.
With many years of
experience and excellent craftsmanship of multi-skilled engineering and
specialized services in the ship repair, oil and gas, mining and fishing
sectors we provide our clients with the highest standards of quality, safety
and reliability.
In order to sustain
these standards, we are operating a Quality Management System (QMS) in
accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015
Management
Commitment:

will align its focus to set and achieve all quality targets and objectives specific
to:
Quality – by providing the highest level of quality products and services
to its customers at all times in line with customer expectations.
Safety – by ensuring a safe working environment at all worksites with
zero tolerance to non-adherence to all safety rules and regulations.
Environment – by always considering its operations that might have an
impact on the environment and mitigate any adverse conditions.
Health – by ensuring a healthy working environment and acknowledging the
importance of a healthy workforce to sustain the operations of the company.
-Continual improvement
of the Quality Management System and ensuring that the management system is
understood by all employees and its purpose.
-Ensure the necessary
requirements of customers and statutory and regulatory requirements are
understood and consistently met.
-Continually identify
risk and opportunity that can affect products and services.
-Maintain focus on
consistently enhancing customer satisfaction.
Management
Determination:
-Be accountable for the
effectiveness of the Quality Management System and ensure that all employees
have knowledge of the management system’s purpose and any changes to the QMS.
-Encourage risk-based
thinking.
-Encourage the use of a
process approach.
-Enhance relationships
with suppliers to deliver an improved service.
-Measure department
performances to ensure consistent improvement.
-Encourage effective
communication throughout the organization.
-Promote development and
training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the employees.
-Encourage all employees
to contribute to the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
This policy will be communicated to all employees and
contractors working for or on our behalf, and they will be expected to
co-operate in the implementation of this policy.
Employees and contractors are expected to ensure that
their work is carried out without risk to themselves, others and the
environment while complying with this policy.
